our oral hygiene treatments include
- carrying out oral examinations and if necessary taking X-rays and/or making dental impressions
- extensive education regarding the development of caries, gum disorders and the effect of dietary habits on the teeth
- extensive education regarding dental care
- carrying out full dental cleanings, at which plaque, tartar and deposits are removed
- carrying out preventive treatments, including the application of protective tooth coatings (such as fluoride)
- applying a layer of 'lacquer' to teeth and/or molars (that have just erupted); this is known as sealing
- polishing fillings
